🌟 Meet the Heart Behind the Haven: Kristy, Jeremiah, & Family & Friend!

👋 About Us: We are Kristy and Jeremiah, a husband-and-wife duo, along with our three amazing kids, and our dear friend and business partner, Chad. Our bond goes beyond blood; it's built on shared experiences and a collective vision for creating something extraordinary.

🌳 Our Story: Fifteen years ago, life took unexpected turns for both Chad and Jeremiah, leaving them paralyzed. Additionally, our son, who walks with a cane due to cerebral palsy, has added unique perspectives to our journey. Navigating the challenges of finding wheelchair-accessible rentals ourselves, we understand the frustrations all too well.

💡 The Inspiration Behind the Dream: Our personal struggles led to a profound realization - the scarcity of wheelchair-accessible retreats. Driven by the desire to transform this frustration into a haven for others, we decided to embark on a mission to build wheelchair-accessible cabins.

🌿 Nature as Our Healing Sanctuary: As nature lovers, we've discovered solace beneath starlit skies and the embrace of untouched landscapes. We believe in the healing power of nature. The chirp of a cricket, the vastness of the sky, and the whisper of the wind offer a sanctuary for reflection and healing.

🌲 The Dream Unfolds: Having recently acquired a piece of land nestled in an undeveloped forest and wetland, our dream is taking shape. We envision a fully-inclusive getaway on the shores of an inland lake, offering universally-accessible cabins where families of all abilities (and their furry friends!) can find respite and connection with nature.

Join Us in Crafting a Haven: Follow our journey, witness the dedication, and be part of the story. We're not just building cabins; we're creating a space where stress dissipates, and healing begins. Your escape to nature, tailored for all abilities, awaits!

🏡 How You Can Help:

  1. Monetary Donations: Your financial support directly contributes to the construction of these cabins. No amount is too small, and every dollar brings us closer to our goal.
  2. Spread the Word: Share our story with your network. Awareness is a powerful tool, and your voice can amplify our message, reaching more individuals who may resonate with our cause.

How to Donate: Visit our dedicated donation page to contribute and be a crucial part of this transformative journey.

🙏 Thank you for being a beacon of hope and accessibility. Together, we can build a retreat where everyone, regardless of ability, can find solace in nature.

With gratitude, Kristy, Jeremiah, Family, and Chad
